Fresh Encounter With God

United in seeking God's face and revealing His presence

What A Fresh Encounter Is Like

  • We worship, but this is not a praise and worship service.
  • We read scripture, but very differently than on a typical Sunday morning.
  • We pray, but with a flow that sets us apart from your typical Wednesday night prayer meeting.
  • We gather to give God the glory, to seek His Face and worship Him together. We also take time for for fellowship with one another in our Lord. He is Worthy!

Our Desire

We believe that any significant move of God in our churches and this region requires a significant move of God among the pastors and missionaries of the area. Unless the pastors and missionaries come together in prayer, what we see happen will be limited in scope.

But if the shepherds unite as Jesus prayed in John 17, we believe we will see a powerful movement of the Holy Spirit in Osaka and the Kansai area.

The Challenge to Us

"During the past 10 years, prayer had begun to emerge as one of the central parts--if not the central part--of the life of the Church worldwide. Christian leaders are asking, 'What would it take to initiate and sustain a significant work of God in a specific geographical community? In other words, what would it take to see John 17 lived out in answer to the Son's prayer?' "       Ed Silvoso in "That None Should Perish"

The Solution

"If my people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and SEEK MY FACE, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, I will forgive their sin and heal their land."       II Chronicles 7:14

The Process

The flow of God's grace begins with the fresh revelation of His holiness (by being in His presence). Holiness produces humility. Humility is the precursor of unity. When unity is present, the city-wide church can be a true community (koinonia). Where there is community, there is impact. It looks like this:
      Holiness ⇒ Humility ⇒ Unity ⇒ Community ⇒ Impact
